Grapes: 100% Aglianico del Vulture.
Harvest time: last decade of September.
Maceration: maceration to for maximum one day and fermentation for 15 days and following steel passage.
Aging: bottle fermentation and 18 months aging on the lees in tuffaceous caves and disgorgement, without added sugar and topping with the same wine of the same year.
Tasting notes:
  • Color: Old rose, brilliant. It shows a fine and persistent perlage.
  • Nose: The nose evokes subtle aromas of red fruits and an elegant smoky note.
  • Taste: The taste is rich and full, with a fresh, pleasant.

Food matching: Excellent as an aperitif, either alone or with appetizers. A whole meal accompanies the elaborate dishes of sea and fried foods like vegetables in batter.
