Description
Grapes: 100% Aglianico del Vulture.
Harvest time: second, third decade of October.
Maceration: about 10 days maceration and vinification at controlled temperature in stainless steel and responds to a type and model of processing and type of wine more "traditional".
Aging: in natural caves of volcanic tuff, in French oak barrels for at least 12 months.
Alcohol content: about 14 degrees.
Tasting notes:
- Color: Ruby red with garnet, light and impenetrable.
- Nose: It has a elegant nose reminiscent of cherry and ripe plum, accompanied by hints of spices and licorice root.
- Taste: Rich, full, well balanced, with notes of cherry, a final cherry and slightly spicy with a pleasant astringency which is typical of the grape variety and of the traditional process.
Food matching: Excellent with red and
wild roast meat.
